THE TREE - Exhibition

EXPANDED FIELD II – THE TREE opens on 6 September 2026 at MITTE37 in Burgdorf and continues until 4 October, before traveling to Kunstquartier Bethanien for the Artbook Festival in Berlin. The international project invites artists and writers to explore the tree as symbol, memory, myth, and ecological future. Each contribution focuses on a single tree, expressed through painting, photography, printmaking, digital art, collage, or poetry. The exhibition forms a growing archive dedicated to sustainability and poetic imagination, accompanied by digital documentation and a gesture of care: participants are encouraged to plant a seed or tree, linking artistic creation with living growth.
